ROANE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT ARRESTED FOR CLENDENIN ARSONS

Police have arrested an 18-year-old Roane County High School student with setting two fires in Clendenin.

The ATF and Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies charged Tiara Spencer with two counts of first degree arson. Spencer is reportedly a resident of Clendenin.

Spencer allegedly confessed that she and another person started the fires at the Sav-A-Lot grocery store on W.Va. Rt. 4 and a fire at the Dollar General store. (See earlier stories)

Police have yet to give any motive for the fires.

Authorities are still looking for a second person believed to be involved in the fires.

One of the females reportedly had asked for a job application at one of the stores.

Spencer is being held on a $500,000 cash bond.

She could be facing two to 20 years in prison.
