TARGET PRACTICE STRIKES SCHOOL - A round of target practice has led to charges being filed against two Brooke County residents who fired a shot into Weirton Middle School.

The father and son, both named Jeff Tober, were practicing with high-powered rifles about 1,300 feet from the middle school.

Police said a bullet went through a window at the middle school. Although no one was hurt, the school was locked down while an investigation was going on.

A DNR officer tracked the path of the bullets and found the two men.

It was unknown what charges would be filed.

BARBOUR MAN MURDERED - Two Barbour County residents are in jail after being charged in connection with the murder of a Galloway man who was burned in a trailer last week.

34-year-old Daniel Ray Arbogast Junior, was a victim of homicide prior to the fire which took place on December 11.

41-year-old Orison Duane Runner of Philippi was arrested Monday and charged with one count of first-degree murder. 44-year-old Linda Sue Meng of Galloway was arrested Tuesday and charged with one count of aiding and abetting, principle in the second degree, which is equivalent to first-degree murder.
