DWELLING DESTROYED BY FIRE AT MUNDAY

(Photo by Al Hogan) It was a sad day in the Village of Munday. A mobile home was completely destroyed by fire at noon yesterday at Munday, Wirt County, with the three occupants away from the dwelling when it caught on fire. The fire reportedly started from an electrical problem. It was the residence of Jason C. Kirby, Brenda Bradley and 15-year-old Taylor McKinley. The fire was discovered about noon and the Elizabeth-Wirt County VFD responded. Al Hogan of Helping Hands Ministries said "It's a really tragic event, so close to Christmas."
