Maurice Edward "Eddie" Webb, 82 - Huntington

Maurice Edward "Eddie" Webb, 82, of Huntington, died December 16, 2006, in the V.A. Medical Center, Huntington.

Eddie was a son of the late William Wallace Webb and the late Lilyan Kirk Webb Fugett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father, John Fugett; sister, Eloise Arthur; brothers, William Webb, Jr. and Richard Webb.

He was a retired employee of the V.A. Medical Center, Huntington. He was a graduate of Huntington East High School and a member of the First Baptist Church of Spencer. Also, he was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie J. Webb; daughters and son-in-law, Ellen West of Pontiac, MI, Linda and Paul Glover of Ona, Robin Davis of Huntington; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Sandy Webb of Philadelphia, PA; stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Joe Moore of Dunbar, Carol and Chuck Polan of Huntington; step son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Jayne Bennett of Spencer; sister, Edith Hatten of Huntington; 11 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, December 19 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Spencer, with the Rev. Leon B. Strickland officiating. Burial, with military graveside rites, will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover. Friends may call at the church one hour before the funeral.

John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements.
