State police say five people have been killed in a fiery collision between two trucks Friday evening.

It happened about 5:30 p.m. Friday on Interstate 79, near the Clay-Braxton county line.

Police say one of the trucks was going the wrong way when it crashed into another truck.

Authorities said both trucks were in flames.

Police were still at the crash scene at midnight.

One lane of the interstate was open both north and southbound, but a detour was also set up along Route 4.
