GREEN INCARCERATED WITH BOND AT $114,000

Twenty-seven-year old Carl Wayne Green has been arrested in Roane County by the State Police and charged with assault and battery on an officer and obstructing an officer. He is being held in Central Regional Jail on those charges with bond set at $103,000. Green was also arrested on two misdemeanor warrants from Calhoun County, with bond posted at $6,000. Green was charged with escape from custody and failure to do weekend incarceration at Central Regional Jail, a warrant date issued on July 19, 2006 by Prosecuting Attorney Matt Minney. He is also being held for failure to register as a sex offender in Jackson County, with bond set at $5,500.
