GIANT 15,000 BARREL OIL GATHERING TANK UNDER CONSTRUCTION

15,000 barrel oil gathering tank being built at Big Bend Workers take advantage of daylight hours Oil production is apparently a rising commodity in Calhoun, with the construction of a 15,000 barrel gathering tank near Big Bend, along State Route 5. West Virginia Gathering Company is constructing the tank, which is expected to go into use by January 15, 2007, according to Steve Hescht, who operates the local office at Big Bend. The oil will then be pumped into a line which goes from the Clay County line to Frazeysburg, Ohio. Welder works toward January completion
