FLINN MURDER CASE DECLARED MIS-TRIAL - Jury Deadlocked

A Wood County jury deliberating the murder case against Wirt resident Roger Flinn became deadlocked over making a decision. Flinn is charged with two counts of murder. The six-man, six-woman jury could not reach a decision regarding his guilt or innocence Friday. Flinn was on trial for the murders of Russell Ray Eastham and Eastham's girlfriend Sylvia L. Fittro on April 1, 2005. The State and attorneys are discussing possible dates to re-try this case. Flinn was placed back in North Central Regional Jail in Doddridge County.
