WINDS COULD GUST 40-50 MPH BY AFTERNOON

A Wind Advisory is now in effect until 5 PM EST this afternoon for Calhoun and the region.

A strong low pressure system will move through the Ohio Valley today pushing a strong cold front across the forecast area. Along and behind this cold front very strong wind gust of 40 to 50 mph are possible as much colder air pushes into the region.

Any Holiday decorations that could be damaged by these types of winds should be secured as well any other outdoor items.

A Wind Advisory means that winds could gust into the 40 to 50 mph range. Preparations should be made to secure loose outdoor items.
