Calhoun High School invites recent graduates to return to school and share with current Calhoun High students your experiences since graduation.

We are holding this event on Wednesday, December 20th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This time period will allow recent graduates to speak to students in classrooms and also visit one-on-one during lunch.

Listed below are some of the items recent gradates can discuss to help current students prepare for the next stage of their lives.

- Are you working full-time or did you go to college?

- What have been your hardest adjustments?

- Was college/work what you expected?

- In what areas did you feel well prepared?

- Did you begin the financial aid search, ACT testing and college application process soon enough?

- How does the study load of college compare to high school?

- With your current hind sight "What would you have done differently in high school"?

- In what areas do you wish you had been better prepared?

If you are going to be home between semesters, please plan to participate. Anyone wishing to participate should e-mail Deb Goff dbgoff@access.k12.wv.us or call 354-6148 extension 10 to register.

We ask that you contact the school by December 15th so teachers may plan appropriately for your visit.
