PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES OFFERED IN SPENCER

(11/17/2006)
Psych Services Associates, Inc. is a growing private practice of mental health treatment providers based in Spencer, with satellite offices in Jackson, Clay, and Kanawha counties.

Under the direction of Dr. Timothy Saar, who specializes in providing forensic psychological evaluations, the staff offers a wide range of services including individual, couples, and family therapy.

Disability evaluations, assessments for ADHD and learning disorders, treatment of child abuse and neglect victims, and treatment for those with bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues are just a few of the services offered.

Currently, the agency has nine psychologists working either full-time or part-time to provide mental health treatment in the local area, including Ripley native Sara Wyer, M.A., Licensed Psychologist.

The agency does accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most insurances. Appointments for Dr. Famularcarno or the psychologists in any of the four counties can be made by calling the main office at (304)927-5262.
