SPENCER WOMAN DIES IN TWO-CAR COLLISION

A Spencer woman died from injuries she received Friday in a two-car collision on Clay Road (Rt. 36) just south of Spencer. Funeral services for Armedia Hall, 46, are being completed at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer. The woman's vehicle collided with a car driven by a 17-year-old, who was taken to the hospital, treated and released. The cars collided near the intersection of Charles Fork Road. The Spencer-Roane Volunteer Fire Department and the Roane County Emergency Squad responded to the accident. The State Police have not released information about the accident.
