Eugene Harold "Buster" Hively, 79 - Walton

Eugene Harold "Buster" Hively, 79, of Walton, died Thursday, November 16, 2006, in Heartland of Charleston, after an extended illness. He was born May 13, 1927, near Walton, a son of the late Roy Samuel and Ruby Moore Hively. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Bernadine Hively and Maxine Moore Taylor. "Buster" was a farmer and life long resident of Roane County. Survivors include two nieces, Berneice Moore of Walton and Bernaetta Shamblin of Normantown; one nephew, Richard C. Moore of Walton. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, November 19 at 1:30 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Charles Shafer officiating. Burial will be in the Shafer Cemetery, Walton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Saturday.
