Sandra Kay Jarvis, 61 - Chloe

Sandra Kay Jarvis, 61 of Chloe, West Virginia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 13, 2006 at Charleston Area Medical Center.

Sandra was born July 26, 1945 at Chelyan, WV, a daughter of the late Richard and Nellie Kirkpatrick Hawks. She was married October 20, 1962 to Charter Jarvis. She was employed by the Calhoun County Committee on Aging-West Fork Center and was a homemaker.

She dedicated the last several years of her life in service to God and was a faithful member of Unity Gospel Tabernacle at Stinson, WV.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Dahlia Hawks and her son-in-law, Darrell Cottrell.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Charter Jarvis; daughters Karen Cottrell and Kim (Randy) Perkins; sisters Anna (James) Coble, Wanda (Bob) Rose and Sharon King; grandchildren Misty King, Katie Perkins and Brandon Cottrell; great grandson Riley Perkins; she also leaves behind many other dear relatives, friends and church family.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, November 16 at Unity Gospel Tabernacle. Pastor Geoffrey Hamrick will officiate. Interment will be in the Clark Jarvis Cemetery, Chloe.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg.
