Jeffrey Harold Allen, 46 - Mt. Nebo

(11/08/2006)
Jeffrey Harold Allen, 46, of Mt. Nebo, WV, went on to be with the Lord on November 6, 2006 following a brief illness. He was born the son of Harold Robert and the late Joan Minigh Allen of Stumptown WV on November 16, 1959.

He was a construction worker employed by Boso and Boso, of Summersville, having learned the craft from his father and uncles. He was a life-long follower of the Baptist Church and passed peacefully, strong in his faith. He enjoyed hard work, family, helping others, and giving counsel.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Marilyn Allen and two children, Travis Jeffrey and Jessica Lea Allen, all of Mt. Nebo, his father, Harold, of Stumptown and special friend Eadra Cox of Good Hope, a sister and brother-in-law, Annetta and Gary Richards of Rosedale, a sister, Shelly, of Glenville, and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, neighbors, fellow church members, and co-workers. Words cannot express our loss.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 8 at White's Funeral Home in Summersville, WV, 6:00-8:00 p.m and at 1:00 on Thursday, November 9, at Rosedale Baptist Church in Rosedale, WV, the service immediately following.

Elders Larry Fisher and Doug Beam will be officiating. Interment at Timothy Knob cemetery will be followed by an open reception at the church.
