| Frederick H. Waybright, 69, of Reedy, West Virginia, died Thursday, November 2, 2006, in CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
He was born September 20, 1937, in Ripley, a son of the late Harvey Harrison and Iva Mae Raines Waybright. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Stacy Waybright; one brother, Ronald Waybright; one sister, Margaret Reynolds.
Fred was a retired employee of General Excavating, Inc., Winchester, Virginia. He was a former employee of State Construction and Cedar Lakes Conference Center, Ripley. He was an Army veteran of the Viet Nam War and a member of the Harmony Baptist Church, Harmony.
Survivors include two sons, Fred Waybright of Arnoldsburg and Tim Waybright of Georgia; two daughters, Kelli Weatherholtz of Woodstock, VA and Tracy Rhodes of Mt. Jackson, VA; one sister, Stella Jenkins of Jacksonville, NC; one brother, Nelson Otho Waybright of Cleveland, OH; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, November 5 at 2 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Daniel McClung officiating. Burial, with military graveside rites, will be in the Looney Cemetery, Walton.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Saturday. |
