ADULT CRITICAL AFTER ACCIDENT ON MUNDAY ROAD - Two Youths Injured

Calhoun Emergency Medical Services and the Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to a single vehicle accident on Munday Road shortly after 10:30 p.m., Wednesday.

A 1990 Oldsmobile, registered to Susan D. Miller of Munday and driven by Curtis Carroll reportedly swerved to miss hitting a deer, went out of control and over the hill in a sharp curve.

The driver was extricated from the vehicle and transported to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center by emergency personnel, Mr. Carroll's condition was reported as critical.

Two youths, a fourteen year old boy and twelve year old girl, also suffered cuts and bruises and were transported to MHHCC, their conditions were not believed to be serious, said Jim Garretson of the GVFD.

Sheriff Allen Parsons was at the scene and is investigating the accident.
