Grantsville's Halloween Festival & Block Party was held Saturday evening from 5-8 p.m. Included in the festivities were a costume contest, games, hayrides, free hot dogs and hot cocoa for all children.

Awards were given for prettiest, ugliest, most original and best overall costumes.

Local residents, churches and organizations were also giving out treats to all the little ghosts and goblins.

The well attended event was sponsored by the Town of Grantsville and the Ladies Auxiliary of Grantsville's VFW Post 5959.
