A WINDY SATURDAY SAYS NWS

(10/27/2006)
The National Weather Service says it is going to be a windy Saturday.

In wake of a strong low pressure, windy conditions will develop Saturday morning and persist for the remainder of the daylight hours until 9 p.m.

Sustained speeds will be between 15 to 25 mph with gusts approaching 40 mph especially on hill tops and ridges.

Make sure any loose items outside are secure or brought inside. Traveling on north south roadways will be tricky, given a strong cross wind.

Lots of leaves will be falling from the trees tomorrow given the forecast.
