Calhoun Middle-High School Marching Band participated in the annual VikingFest Band Competition held in Ripley, WV on Saturday, October, 21st.

The majorettes performed an almost flawless routine catching all of their partner tosses and impressed the judges. They were awarded 1st place overall in the majorette division.

Ashley Conley, feature twirler for the band had an outstanding performance as well and placed 2nd overall in the twirler division. Emily Thomas, field commander placed 5th in class C division and the percussion placed 5th. The band placed 7th in the Class C division.
