CARS COLLIDE AT FOODLAND PARKING LOT

Two vehicles collided in the parking lot at Grantsville's Foodland about 9 a.m. today, sending DHHR employee Vickie Shaffer of Weston to the hospital for evaluation. The driver of the other vehicle, Blackie Sturm, was not transported by ambulance, apparently uninjured. The accident happened during a heavy downpour. Calhoun EMS responded with the Grantsville VFD, and Grantsville police chief J. D. Nicholson.
