... and came to rest against a mobile home on Phillip's Run

Calhoun Deputy Sheriff Justin Metheney said "It's a strange looking accident."

A Chevy auto went out of control on Phillip's Run last night at 7:20 p.m., first striking a parked Chevy Cavalier and then landing on top of another parked Buick belonging to Oris McWilliams of Grantsville.

The vehicle also damaged a mobile home, adjacent to the parked car.

The 24-year-old female driver from Gilmer County did not appear to be seriously injured, but EMS reported she was several months pregnant. She was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center.

The driver reportedly struck a cat on Route 16 about two miles south of Grantsville, then went over an embankment before engaging the two parked vehicles near a row of mobile homes.

"I can't imagine how this happened," said Mary Nichols, owner of the first parked car, "It just doesn't make sense."
