| William Ray "Bill" Stone, 45, of Spencer, WV, died Tuesday, October 10 at home.
He was born January 5, 1961 a son of James and Mildred Mullnax Stone. He was an oil field worker and an Army veteran. He was a Little League coach in Spencer and Ohio and chain guard for football.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Maggie Austin of Spencer; son, Bradley Stone of Spencer; daughters, Rachel Austin, Sabrina Hite-Stone, and Brianna Hite-Stone, all of Spencer; stepsons, Joshua Austin of Ohio and Dustin Austin of Spencer; granddaughter, Jordan Austin of Ohio; brother, Allen Stone of Ohio; sister, Carol Stubbner of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
A memorial service will be conducted Monday, October 16 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Spencer, with the Rev. Michael F. "Mike" King officiating.
