CMS VOLLEYBALL TUESDAY GAME RESULTS |

| Submitted by Kelley Houchin Calhoun Middle School traveled to Flatwoods Tuesday evening to play the Braxton Middle School Lady Knights. Calhoun "B" lost 25-22, 25-16. Kenzie Laughlin lead "B" with 8 points, 2 aces; Katelyn Collins added 6 points, 2 aces; Brooklyn Green 3 points, 1 ace; Kayla Cottrell, Samantha Fulks and Brittiny Miller added 1 point each. Brook Green was 4/4 and Samantha Fulks was 3/4 setting. Katie Collins was 2/2 from the attack line. With the loss, the "B" team record drops to 4-5. Calhoun "A" defeated Braxton 25-13 and 25-18. Ashley Houchin lead "A" with 19 points, 8 aces; Rochelle Gerwig added 7 points, 3 aces; Jordan Mace 4 points, 1 ace; Michelle Hall 1 point, 1 ace; and Amber Wilford 1 points. Amber Wilford was 14/14 setting and Savannah Church was 7/7. From the attack line Jordan Mace was 7/7, Karisa Reip was 4/5, Michelle Hall was 3/3 with 1 kill and Ashley Houchin was 3/4 with 1 kill. With the win, the "A" team improves their record to 10-1. Calhoun Middle is idle until Monday, October 16 when they travel to Wirt County. |
