Paul E. Nichols, 80, of Spencer, West Virginia, died October 6, 2006 at Roane General Hospital. He was born February 28, 1926 at Clover, WV, a son of the late George and Gatha Digman Nichols. He was an oilfield worker having retired from Pennzoil. He is survived by his wife, Norma J. Nichols; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark A. and Lisa Nichols of Spencer; two sisters, Opal Selmon of Grantsville and Bernice Little of Davisville; two brothers, Georgie Nichols of Grantsville and Burl Nichols of Mt. Zion; and three grandchildren, Dustin Conley, Anitra Westfall and Moriah Westfall. He was preceded in death by a son Michael E. Nichols. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 9 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer with Rev. Danny Whited officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
