Lester McCumbers, Calhoun's best known mountain music maker spends some time with his friends Lots of standin', sittin' and talkin" throughout the three-day festival The kids enjoyed newly added carnival rides From squeezin' cane and barbecued chicken to the grand parade and a county fair atmosphere, the 39th annual WV Molasses Festival was a down-home hit. Several hundred former Calhounians returned to visit and re-live their early days, and the kids enjoyed the booths, carnival rides and parade.
