| Arizona Reed, 86, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Thursday, September 28, 2006, in the Miletree Center, Spencer, after an extended illness.
She was born December 6, 1919, in Hazard, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Molly Collins Amburgey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three husbands, Chester Fugate, Ezra Jarvis and Hays Reed; nine brothers and five sisters.
Arizona was a retired waitress and a member of the Apostolic Church.
Survivors include one son, Bobby Hall of Hinton, VA; niece and caregiver, Dianne Murdock of Spencer; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, October 1 at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Pastor Harold Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until 2:00 p.m. Sunday. |
