| INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT - October 6, 2006 is the Instructional Support and Enhancement Day for Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center. The schedule will be 8:30-10:30 a.m. Faculty Senate Meeting, 10:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m. Student time, and 1- 3:30 p.m. for Professional Development.
PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE - Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center will have its first Parent Teacher Conference from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday October 10, 2006.
Career Center students and parents are encouraged to attend and meet the student's instructors. There will also be a meeting of the CGCC School Improvement Council at 5:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
CAR WASH - The Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center Chapter of the SkillsUSA will have their annual fall car wash (washing, waxing and detailing) until November 15, 2006. The cost is $35.00 per standard vehicle.
Proceeds will be used to help send students to the West Virginia SkillsUSA competition.
