| A Wood County man is dead after a
single vehicle wreck in Ritchie County.
Fifty-nine-year-old Larry Ronald Weaver of
Parkersburg, formerly of Calhoun County, was driving on state Route 16
when he lost control of his Chevy Cavalier near
Goff's Road in Harrisville.
The accident happened at about 4:20 Tuesday, July 31.
Sheriff's officials say the Weaver vehicle skidded off the
pavement and flipped down an embankment,
hitting a tree.
Weaver was not wearing a seat belt.
He was the son of the late Vere and Angie Ferrell Weaver of Russett.
