Opal Coon Miller, 91, of Barberton, OH, died Friday, September 15, 2006, in the Barberton Citizens Hospital, Barberton, OH. She was born August 31, 1915, in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Calvin and Rosabelle Carpenter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ezra Coon; her second husband, Earl Miller; one daughter, Hazel Virginia Waggoner. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker. Survivors include one daughter, Macel K. Waggoner of New Franklin, OH; two sons, Ezra Eugene Coon, Jr. of Spencer and Cleo Charley Coon of Norton, OH; seventeen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, September 17 at 3:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial will be in the Carpenter Cemetery, Husk Ridge, Hur, Calhoun County. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the service.
