"AGING WITH GRACE" PROVIDES CHOICES

(11/08/2006)

Aging with Grace offers a home-like
atmosphere for those who "need a little help"

A wide variety of private and semi-private rooms are available,
using one's own furniture or furniture supplied by the facility

Aging with Grace is a tastefully decorated 16-bed assisted living facility, centrally located in Grantsville.

After months of remodeling and meeting compliance regulations, owners Rick and Alrene Sampson are now accepting applications.

"It's been a lot of hard work, getting it ready," said Rick Sampson, "But seeing the results have been well worth it."

The two story facility, formerly the Grantsville Hotel, has been completely renovated and decorated, resulting in an eye-pleasing and comfortable facility, with primary concerns being access and safety.

"We offer nutritious meals, activities, exercise and crafts, with supervision of medications and caring by a trained staff," said Arlene Sampson.

Private and semi-private rooms are available, with bathrooms.

Sampson said the facility can take individuals who "are ambulatory with the assistance of one staff person, and who are able to walk, talk and feed themselves. Some cognitive impairment from conditions like Alzheimers are acceptable."

"We will maintain a family-like atmosphere with the highest level of professional care," she concluded.
