Guinevere (Guin) R. Elliott - Suffolk, Virginia

Guin died at Obici Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia on Friday, August 25, 2006. At the time of her death, she had been residing in Suffolk with her son Mike and his wife Tammie.

She was born in Calhoun County, WV on August 27, 1926. Her parents were the late Coy and Luerna Robinson.

Guin married Robert (Tuck) Elliott on November 22, 1945 in Grantsville, WV. They were married 49 years.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grantsville. She worked at Rubber Fabricators, the County Clerks office, and retired from the Calhoun County Library.

She is survived by her son, Michael and his wife Tammie, daughters Nancy and her husband Stu, and Bobi and her husband Jim; Her grandchildren are Sara and Paul Elliott, Bryan and Erin Metz, and Shane and Marc Wilson; great grandchildren, are Branwyn and Tatum Elliott, Monica and Ian Wilson, and Alex and Quinn Wilson.

In addition to her parents Guin was preceded in death by her husband Tuck; sisters, Lurland, Gertrude, and Greta, and brother, Harold.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 29 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville where friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery, Grantsville.
