RT. 16 "SAME PLACE, DIFFERENT DAY" ACCIDENT

(08/21/2006)

Vehicle and camper failed to make turn on rain-slick Rt. 16

It was a "frequent flier" call to the Mouth of Crummies Creek-Route 16, south of Arnoldsburg, yesterday afternoon, where a vehicle towing a pop-out camper spun out-of-control, and went into the woods.

The stretch is known for accidents, particularly after a slow rain, the highway becomes very slippery.

Calhoun EMS took one woman to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center for evaluation and two other occupants of the vehicle signed refusals.

Calhoun EMS dispatched two ambulances
accompanied by the Arnoldsburg VFD
