| Della P. Bennett, 92, of Lower Run Community, Normantown, passed away August 14, 2006 at the Arbors of Marietta, Ohio.
Born at Index, Gilmer County, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Mittie Harris Bennett. She was a former employee of Glenville Sate College and was retired from Kent Sate University in Ohio.
Surviving are a son, William Kerby of Normantown; grandson, Richard Kerby of Normantown; sister, Bessie Vannoy of Strongsville, Ohio; brother, Virgie Bennett of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Semilda Fredrick and two brothers, Ralph and Hugh Bennett.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, August 18 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. John Vannoy will officiate. Interment will be in the Bennett Cemetery, Grantsville.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
