Billy E. "Biff" Barker, II, 44 - Grantsville

Billy E. "Biff" Barker, II, 44 of Grantsville, West Virginia, went home to be with his Lord on August 14, 2006 at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center, Grantsville.

He was a son of the late Billy E. and Marva Lucille "Ruby" Welch Barker. He was born August 19, 1961. Billy was a Christan by faith and attended Knotts Memorial United Methodist Church and Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a member of the Grantsville VFD, the WV Trappers and Engineers Association, and Moose Lodge #1118.

He is survived by several uncles, aunts, cousins and close personal friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elijah Barker and Hazel Wyant Barker and maternal grandparents, William Clarence and Nellie Whipkey Welch.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, August 17 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. Reverends Kevin Church and Carroll McCauley will officiate. Burial will be in the Ayers Cemetery, Smithville at the convenience of the family.
