COMMISSION HAS FULL AGENDA MONDAY

The Calhoun Commission will meet this Monday starting at 9 a.m.

Among the items on the agenda:

- Diane Ludwig, Director Little Kanawha Area Development Corporation, is requesting a budget revision.

- Sanitation reports from the Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department for the County Park and Wayne Underwood Field.

- E-911 Report will include opening bids on equipment and moving center to new site.

- Employee Handbook Committee report.

- Election Items include ballot review, number of poll workers, emergency absentee commissioners and new printers for voting machines.

- Smoking issues related to smoking in or near courthouse doorways, after Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department advisement.

- Tax adjustment request, Justin Wizard.

- Family Court Building report.

- Waterline extension petition, Backfork Road.

- Invoices, Bonds, Wills, Settlements and Orders.

- Road name changes.

- Courthouse improvements: Strip, clean and wax halls $2,040; New blinds courtroom and little courtroom $1,300; Concrete work, steps and parking lot; Place wiring in conduit $700.

- Review Commission appointments to boards and authorities.

- Grants, contracts, applications and resolutions: Court security and window grant completion.

- Invoices, Bonds, Wills, Settlements and Orders.

September 11th is the next scheduled commission meeting.
