Police are investigating the breaking and entering of two Big Bend churches.
A $4000 laptop computer was taken from the Brooksville Baptist Church,
according to Sheriff Allen Parsons.

A guitar and cash were taken from the Gospel Light House located on Rt. 5,
west of Big Bend. The breaking and enterings happened on June 20-21 and
June 28-29. In one incident the intruders damaged a safe attempting to steal
money, said Parsons.
Both cases remain under investigation.
