TOMAN PASSED FOR PLEASANTS COUNTY SCHOOL HEAD

(08/08/2006)
Randolph County Schools Assistant Superintendent Joe Super is the new superintendent of Pleasants County Schools.

The other candidate for the job was Gilmer County Schools Superintendent Ed Toman.

Super was appointed to the one-year $85,000 contract by a 5-0 vote.

Board member Dan Greenleaf said both candidates were qualified for the position, which made the decision a tough one.
