By Drew Moody

Everett Campbell, 33, of Sand Fork, is facing first degree murder charges for firing the bullet that claimed the life of the Moundsville man.

Campbell is facing a life sentence and Judge Jack Alsop told the court he admitted to police he did indeed pull the trigger.

Medley's family gathered on the lawn of the Gilmer County Courthouse moments after Campbell's bond hearing concluded.

Imagine what their week was like. An untimely tragic death, a mother burying her son and then witnessing the killer walk free after being released on $150,000 bail.

The past seven days have been nothing less than a nightmare for this close-knit London, Kentucky family who traveled six hours to attend Everett Campbell's bond hearing ...
