A long-running controversy not allowing Calhoun Youth League football to play on the new football field at the Mt. Zion campus has ended.
CM-HS has given the group the go-ahead to play about four games or so this fall. The A, B, and C teams will continue to use Wayne Underwood Field for practice.
Calhoun Youth Football is still in need of players for the A-team ages 11-12 with a weight limit of 165 pounds and the B-team ages 9-10 with a weight limit of 140 pounds.
Anyone interested can still sign up. Gilmer and Ritchie County youth are also eligible to participate.
