COLLISION SENDS GRANTSVILLE MAN TO HOSPITAL - Upper West Fork VFD Responds To Tractor Fire

A two-vehicle collision near Grantsville's Bernard P. Bell Bridge sent Kenneth Lemley of Grantsville to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center for evaluation at 7:30 a.m. Monday. No one else was injured.

A vehicle reportedly experiencing problems with steering, struck the Lemley vehicle, heavily damaging it, and came to rest against the guardrail.

Calhoun EMS, the Grantsville VFD and Sheriff Carl Ballengee responded to the call.

The Upper West Fork VFD responded to a tractor fire on Pond Run at 4:52 p.m. Eloise Bullard reported the tractor was near a house, which did not catch on fire.
