| Thelma Stemple Bell, 91, of Spencer died Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at Roane General Hospital.
She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Ray and Mittie Barnes Stemple. She retired from Traders Bank in Spencer and was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church of Spencer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil M. Bell, in 1960 and one brother, Andrew Stemple.
Graveside service was Saturday, July 15 at Eventide Cemetery with Rev. Leon Strickland officiating.
Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer was in charge of arrangements.
