Carl J. Wix, 74 - Akron, Ohio

Carl J. Wix, 74 of Akron, Ohio, formerly of Creston, West Virginia, passed away July 14, 2006 at Hospice Care Center of Akron, Ohio after a couragous battle with cancer. Born at Creston, he was a son of the late Harold and Hazel Nutter Wix. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Surviving are a son, Larry Wix of Akron; a sister, Charlotte (Burl) Riggs and a granddaughter, Kristin. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy. Graveside rites were held Tuesday, July 18 at the McCray Cemetery at Creston. Rev. Delmas Stutler officiated. Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, WV was in charge of arrangements.
