Trooper Hunt checks broken window used for entry

A thief or thieves broke and entered the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church within the past 24 hours, stealing money from a collection jar, according to pastor Rick Swearingen.

"There was not a lot of money in the jar," said the pastor.

Trooper 1st Class Jeff Hunt investigated the B & E, where access was made by breaking a basement window.
