WOOD COUNTY ATV VICTIM HAS CALHOUN CONNECTIONS - Funeral Friday For Brandy West

A Wood County ATV victim has Calhoun connections.

Brandy Michelle Tanner West, 29, of Leachtown died July 1, 2006, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital as a result of an all-terrain vehicle accident.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Charlene Spaur officiating. Burial will be in Kanawha Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. until service time Friday.

She was born July 23, 1976, in Parkersburg, a daughter of Randy and Debbie Davis Tanner of Leachtown.

She was a 1994 graduate of Scott High School in Boone County.

Brandy is survived by her husband, Tracy West of Leachtown; a stepson, Zachary West of Grantsville; her parents, Randy and Debbie Tanner; one brother, Michael Tanner, who is autistic and held a special place in her heart; one sister, Bridgett Tanner; paternal grandmother, Betty Tanner; one uncle, Leland Tanner, all of Leachtown; mother-in-law, Dianne Yoak of Leachtown; father-in-law, Charles West of Ohio; three brothers-in-law, Travis West of Leachtown, Torey Yoak of Weston, W.Va., and Kenneth Charles West of Alaska.

Travis, Tracy and Torey are the sons of Diane Yoak formerly of Grantsville

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Robert Tanner; one uncle, Steven M. Tanner; one aunt, Tammela Tanner; and maternal grandparents, Chester E. and Mary V. Davis.
