MAN SUSTAINS HEAD INJURY IN EARLY MORNING ACCIDENT

A man sustained a "head injury" after his Chevy Lumina failed to negotiate a turn on Nobe Road at 1 a.m. this morning, east of Chapel Baptist Church. He was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center for evaluation. The car turned on its side against the road bank. Calhoun EMS dispatched two ambulances to the scene, with the Grantsville VFD. Alcohol appeared to play a role in the accident. Trooper 1st Class Jeff Hunt is investigating.
