Students, in groups of three or four, were scattered about Glenville State College's fine arts center Friday morning playing a variety of hammered instruments.

Everyone seemed to be having a good time.

The class, Music Methods for Teachers, is designed for elementary teachers who work at schools where there is no formal music instruction.

Their young instructor, Sarah Gower was bouncing about, encouraging students. Gower is a visiting instructor from Summersville who will be leaving soon to pursue a doctorate degree.
