GILMER MAN PLEADS GUILTY IN SEX CASE

Henry Howard Jenkins, 40, (left) of Gilmer County pled no contest last week to two felony counts of sexual misconduct involving a minor.

Jenkins was originally charged in a seven count indictment.

The incidents occurred between approximately February and August of last year.

The locations of the crimes included a residence in Camden Flats, in his vehicle, and at a home on Lower Cedar Creek Road, according to court records.

A psychiatric evaluation was ordered prior to sentencing.

Jenkins is currently being held in the Central Regional Jail.
