| Samuel M. Tucker, 76, of Mineral Wells, formerly of Grantsville, passed away June 5, 2006 at the Arbors of Marietta, Ohio.
Born in Lewis County, he was a son of the late Samuel M. and Jane Virginia Hayhurst Tucker. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and was a former employee of Verizon.
Surviving are a brother, Robert Tucker of Mineral Wells; and 2 sisters, Freda Canterna of Freeport, PA and Glenna Louise Schoolcraft of Ellenboro, NC.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Mr. Jim Waddle will officiate. Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
