Jackie Lee Beall

Jackie Lee Beall went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2006 after an extended illness. He was at home.

Jackie was born March 27, 1938 on Steer Run, Gilmer County, the son of the late Doyl Beall and Louise Whitesel Beall, who survives.

He was united in marriage to Sandra Hevener, who survives, on July 25, 1959. He is also survived by three children, Kimberly Beall Lowther and husband Joe, Richard Beall and friend Cleo Morgan, Charles Beall and wife Wendy; also six grandchildren and one step grandson, namely Justin Lowther and wife Kristy, Kristi Lowther, Amber Lowther, Brianna Lowther, Jordan Beall, Ryan Beall and Michael McCord. Also surviving are two sisters, Zeta Jean Mohr and Evonne Mohr, and three brothers, Wendel, David and Doyl Junior Beall.

Jackie was baptized into Oak Grove Baptist Church on August 28, 1966. He retired from the Department of Highways with 26 years of service. He and his sons farmed and raised beef cattle, which he truly enjoyed.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. at the Oak Grove Baptist Church, Normantown. Elder Larry Fisher and Elder Richard Adams will officiate. Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
